about
I went to several tunnels around town and did numerous takes to choose the best-suited tunnel. It was fun exploring the different sounds that could be obtained.
This particular take was done on the Hick's Canyon Trail, it is the best take of the song so I figured I'd share it with all of you
This song is about a past life & how we can at times wish people who once knew us could see who we are now
lyrics
I could walk your streets
No one would notice me
But from a distance
You could and you’d ask
"What the hell are you doing here?"
That’s a good question
I guess I should stop
Following your scent
A problem on repeat
With these memories
[Chorus]
On the grass
Lying on our backs
And the stars
Floating overhead
How could you forget
The flame burned out
Those sparks still come around
I’ve got no quarrels
No bones to pick
I know exactly what you did
Along with the cost of it
We can sit while I apologize
Or we can get to talking
About the past 3* years of our lives
If it’s any consolation
My face is different, so am I
[Chorus]
[Bridge]
There is still so much good
Revolved around you
It’s only bittersweet
Cause I tore it at the seams
[Chorus]
